Battling princes and powers, not flesh and blood
Because of the struggles of a man connected with our church, I have been doing more research than I otherwise would in the area of military veterans.
While we may be divided in some issues, let's remember those who return from military service and the trials, struggles, and isolation they often face.

Yes, Aaron.
You know my pacifist leanings, but I never balk at prayers offered for the safety of troops and for the well being of those who return home. I am against the long time enemies of humanity: death and suffering.
Now, if those prayers begin to take overtones of the US military carrying out God's will, then I will loudly object. I also don't like it when we only pray for our people as if other folks' lives don't matter. But, I digress...
BTW, I'm restarting my blog at the same old website, but with a new name and make over.
Tim F.
Good word.
By the way, Bill Dean called me. How completely random and hilarious is that?
